在整体论与区域规划方面对盖德斯的传承。朱皆平的人生处在中国社会转型的一个激烈动荡的年代，朱皆平对转
变中的社会状态有着清醒的观察，也有他自己“科学救国”的主张和理念。正是通过对盖德斯的思想和理论的学习，
他找到了一条可以坚持的实践路径。 |

| Combining various details of the historical process，the article explores ZHU Jieping’s detailed study，
translation and retelling of Patrick Geddes’ social theory and then discusses the three aspects of ZHU Jieping’s
planning ideas and methods based on Geddes’s theory；finally summarizes ZHU Zhuping and Lewis Mumford as
student，their holistic and regional planning inheritance of Patrick Geddes. ZHU Jieping’s life was in a fierce and
turbulent era of China’s social transformation. ZHU Jieping has a sober observation of the changing social status，
and has his own ideas and concept of “Saving the country through science”. It was through Geddes’s thoughts and
theory that ZHU Jieping found a firm path to practice. |
