| The plot patterns are the form of land division.As the important part of urban fabric, plot patterns connect the street and building fabric.Based on the clearly defining the notions of urban fabric and plot patterns,this paper analyzes the relationship between plot patterns and street system, plot patterns and building fabric on the three levels of land division: the street-block, the subdivision within the block and plot, and puts forward some basic principles of land division to combine the land use and form control purposes in urban design. |
