| LU Yichen is the founder and chief architect of Studio Link-Arc, and an associate professor of architec-tural design at Tsinghua University. LU studied at Tsinghua University and Yale University. He has worked in many prestige architectural design offi ces, including Gehry partners, Steven Holl Architects, and Atelier FCJZ. LU’s work-ing and studying experiences have shaped his unique workfl ow and design style. Through physical models and spatial experience, LU reshapes the landscape. He converses with the urban space with the language of architec-tural form. His resistance approach is the gesture of architectural facade and building material selection. In LU, we can still see the rare concrete knowledge of space that is endangered today. |
