| This article studies the urban design method of the typological combination of urban space. The meth-od focuses on the urban space as the object, and features the typological classifi cation and combination of the el-ements of the urban space. Through case study on Novartis Campus in Basel and Richti-Areal in Zürich Wallisellen both designed by Vittorio Lampugnani, how the method was implemented in practice is discussed. The method of the typological combination of urban space leads to the forming of a wholistic and rationally ordered urban area. |
