      弗雷·奥托一生致力于发展大跨度轻型建筑,其对柔性结构的研究引领大跨度建筑发展进入全新的领域。通 过皂膜试验等“实体模型”试验方法,模仿自然界中的自主构形过程,弗雷·奥托开创了现代膜结构和索膜结构体系, 并应用于设计实践,逐步发展成为当代大跨度公共建筑中柔性结构体系部分。本文通过对弗雷·奥托设计哲学、“实 体模型”试验方法、设计实践三方面的综合分析,揭示了弗雷·奥托的研究与实践推动大跨度柔性结构建筑发展 的过程。
英文摘要:
      Frei Otto devoted all his life to the development of large span building. His research of light fl exible structure brought the large span building into a new realm. By doing model experiment like soap fi lm experiment, Frei Otto imitated the process of autonomous confi guration in nature, then he initiated modern membrane and cable structure system, and gradually applied them in design practice, which develop to an important part of con-temporary large-span public buildings. In this paper, by analyzing the design philosophy of Frei Otto, the model experiment and his design practice, reveal the development of large span fl exible structural architecture which promoted by Frei Otto’s practice.
