| This article focuses on the new generation Japanese architect Akihisa HIRATA. By studying HIRATA’s
architectural discourses and design works carefully, this article attempts to clarify the development of his design,
discuss the essential concepts of his works, as well as considering the HIRATA’s position in the context of modern
Japanese architecture development and the possible inspirations for East Asia from him. |
