| By analyzing several representative design works of Swiss architect Luigi Snozzi, and combining the theory
of phenomenology about “place” and “Genius Loci “, this paper expound the attitude and the significance of
Snozzi’s architectural thought towards “place”. In order to lead to a reflection about the phenomenon of absence
of local characteristics in contemporary architecture and urban design practice. |
