| Basing on “Artistic Will” of Alois Riegl, this paper investigates the law of evolution and concrete manifestation
about “Artistic Will”, and discusses the law of artistic development based on Haptic-Optical. At last, it
point out the complementarity between art theory of Alois Riegl and art theory of Semper, and their influence on
the contemporary architectural theory and modern architectural historiography. |
