| The author introduces the experimental education of Peking University Graduate Center of Architecture
(PUGCA). Professor Yung Ho Chang established the training goals when he founded PUGCA. That is the Thinking
Craftsman and the Practical Thinker. Due to the unique education system of PUGCA, it has formed rich and original
educational results in just a few years. Finally, the author points out the value and significance of architectural education
in PUGCA. Perhaps, it lies in cultivating “Integrating People” who can think independently, in emphasizing concentration
and perseverance, and in maintaining the attitude of critical practices. |
