| Mr. CHEN Zhihua is a famous architect and educator in China，a professor of school of Architecture，
Tsinghua University. He has devoted his whole life to the protection of Chinese vernacular architectural heritage.
This paper mainly through recalling the trip to Russia and Belarus of Mr. CHEN with the Russia album delegation of
magazine World Architecture in the 1990s，his architectural investigation，architectural education and academic
exchange in Moscow，St-Petersburg and Minsk，expounds his architectural education idea，architectural heritage
protection thought and inculcation，to remember the great and ordinary life of the thinker in the field of architecture——Mr. CHEN Zhihua. |
