| Taking the structure of Geoffrey Bawa’s early architecture as the starting point, this paper explores its
deep-seated historical information and modern characteristics, clarifies the cooperative relationship between Bawa
and Plesner by pulling away the evolutionary clues of the use of structure, and discriminates the differences of their
structural strategies. Further explore how they use the modern structure to respond to the local places, summarize the
four characteristics of its structure, and enrich the connotation of Bawa’s creation from the “western” context to the
“local” context. |
