| This article draws on the speculation on the philosophical proposition ”I think，therefore I am” from Des-
cartes，Kant to Merleau-Ponty，to parallelly examine Yung Ho Chang ‘s intellectual trajectory developed in the thirty
years of practice of FeiChangJianZhu. Making eyes，hands，and mind，heart，and soul as the starting point for spatial
analysis，it borrows Merleau-Ponty’s concept of embodiment to understand Yung Ho Chang’s design approaches in
the past ten years，and develops an architectural criticism that interprets design works by analyzing the author. |
