| Abstract：This paper takes Northeastern University as an example，this paper seeks to systematically and objectively sort out and verify the history，connotation，characteristics and stage contribution of the early architectural studies of Northeastern University in order to supplement the development of China’s modern architecture and architectural education with a piece of the important jigsaw puzzle，by means of archival documentation，oral description of Northeastern University’s architectural scholars，and interviews. |
