| Abstract：Nancy Steinhardt is a famous scholar in the field of architectural history in the United States for here research on Chinese and East Asian architectural history. This paper starts from a brief introduction to the chapters of her latest book YUAN，Chinese architecture in a Mongol Empire. It then reveals the main features and logical structure of the book，and finally points out the role and value of this book and her research by reviewing the comments from other scholars within and outside the United States. |
