| Politics of the Everyday is a work by Italian author Ezio Manzini. Mancini combines various case studies to explore strategies for intervening in space and society through design and action, and proposes innovative design practices in daily life that are closely connected to contemporary social issues. Mancini is particularly concerned about the new issues that the information network society brings to social solidarity and design practices, believing that local people need to unite to create "common wealth". Mancini"s concept of "everyday politics" is a development of the concept of "social spatial production" proposed by French philosopher Henri Lefebvre, and it is a possibility to seek innovative design strategies and specific practices. |
