| The history of Post-Modernism Architecture was to a large extent tied to a name of Charles Jencks, Who played an operative role in promoting the movement. But because only few of his books have been discussed in Chinese discourse, so it is difficult to get an overall perspective of his historiography of Post-Modernism Archiecture which is essential for us to take a new look at Post-Modernism Architecture in China. In order to fill the gap, this paper will discuss Jencks’ historiography of Post-Modernism by studying the seminal texts that he wrote from 1971 until 2011. |
