| The development of modern architecture and the influence of modernism architectural thought in South
Asia are closely related to Muzharul Islam. Based on the research of the background, works and thoughts of Bangladeshi architect Islam, this paper analyzes the design phase and the theoretical support of modernity and regionalism behind it, discusses how the architect responds to the historical mission of the nation through his works,
and gradually extends the intention of “return home”behind his modernism architecture form. |
