| 营造学社成员、德国艺术史家艾克的《亭式石塔 I》是一篇具有时代特点的文章，它首先是近代西方艺术史、
建筑史理论的一个应用案例，里面充斥着维特鲁威和19 世纪普鲁士地区建构学的思想，亦带有温克尔曼、拉斯
金和结构理性主义的影子；其次，它在中日建筑史上也较为重要，于福建传统建筑和日本“天竺样”之间率先搭起
了一座桥梁；最后，也是非常重要的一点，他在《亭式石塔 I》写作前后与营造学社的交流，与他本人作为罕见的外
籍社员对营造学社及其著作的态度，则是中国建筑史学史具有价值的个案。本文试图通过梳理和呈现艾克《亭式
石塔 I》的内容与写作过程，还原营造学社初期国内外学术思潮。 |

| Structural Features of the Stone-Built Ting-Pagoda I written by German art historian and member of the
Society for Research in Chinese Architecture（SRCA），Gustav Ecke，was a treatise of the time. First，it was a case in the
application of modern Western art history and architectural theory，full of ideas from Vitruvius and the tectonic of 19th
century Prussia，with hints of Winkelmann，Ruskin，and structural Rationalism. Second，It is also important in the history
of Chinese and Japanese architecture，as a pioneer in building a bridge between traditional Fujian architecture and the
Japanese Tenjikuyō. Last but not the least，his interaction with the Society for Research in Chinese Architecture before
and after the writing of Structural Features of the Stone-Built Ting-Pagoda I，and his attitude towards the Society and its
works as a rare foreign member，are valuable cases in the academic history of Chinese architecture. This essay attempts
to reveal the academic tide both at home and abroad，of the early years of the Society，by presenting the content and
writing process of Ecke’s Structural Features of the Stone-Built Ting-Pagoda I. |
