| Through a study on the theoretical background of architect Theodor Fischer, the practical and ideological turns of Stadtbaukunst in the German-speaking area around 1900 are explored. Together with an analysis of the projects and urban architecture theories of Fischer, this article reveals the close interaction between Stadtbaukunst theory and regulation systems of urban architecture, which has profoundly influenced urban construction in this area. |
